Good Afternoon Team, This is from Patrick
I know some of you are eager to get back on the field and we are getting closer and closer. This spring is going to be the longest season we have had. This year the season is going to last 12 weeks with another Saturday tournament. What I need from you all is a check for $25.00 or cash sent to me for the cost of the team. Please send it to my house this week. I can't afford to cover the whole $425.00 this month. My truck broke down and needed repairs. Thanks again everyone and let's make it to the finals this year. GO BALLS DEEP!

Good Season
First of all, let me congratulate all of you on a good season. Saturday was a day of retribution as we made the semifinals and lost to the hated Fighting Cocks. We did have a good tournament as we dismissed the Motorboaters who eliminated us from the tourney several years ago. I will hand out seasonal awards at a later date but congratulations are in order for the good season and good tournament appearance.

Tourney Saturday
Balls Deepers, We start the tournament Saturday morning at 9:00 AM. This is it, what we have been waiting for. We open up with the Urban Acheivers in game 1 at 9:00 and then will probably play the Motorboaters at 11:00 if we win... Be ready for a full day of kickball as the championship starts at 1:00 PM. It will take 4 wins to win it all and we are fully capable of winning 4 in a row.
This is the last day of the season so injuries need to be healed and wills need to be signed. Leave it all on out of the field. Blood, sweat and tears is what I expect and what you will deliver.
Kick the ball on the ground and run like hell. Mistakes will not be accepted. There is no margain for error and all contracts will be subject to termination in the middle of the game. We have nothing to lose, play like Champions!
BRING IT STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recap of last nite's games from Pat
We beat the Angry Pirates first game 18-0. Ann M and Jess. traded off every inning in both games to throw off the kickers. Jess. caught 3 balls and made it home for the first time ever. I had a good dodge going from first to home with the first baseman throwing the ball and doing some back bend to dodge it and make it home my second kick I tried to make it all the way home and got thrown out sliding into home. Missed a homerun by inches. Michael M. kicked a 3 run homer. Blacky kicked a triple. Rachel, Katie, Jessica, Libby and Ann Morgan all had RBI's in the first game. Everyone kept the ball on the ground and we played awesome. You lost your job at third.
Second game beat Blue Ballers 8-0 Same situation on pitching. Rachel painted our faces for this game. Rachel wore her halloween bee outfit for the whole game. antennas, wings and her yellow and black tights and socks. I wore a crazy wig and told everyone I was Carls brother. The team was pretty drunk for this game. Two cop cars came and watched our game and Clifford was jumping around in the outfield with his beer until we pointed out the popo. I did a usual stupid catch that wouldn't make espn because it was gay.

Old Sports Illustrated Article
Balls Deepers,
First of all, let me convey the great pride that this organization takes in the effort displayed last evening. A rivalry game is always an emotional and physical drain on the players and I can tell you that I slept like a baby last night. I know that it is disappointing to end the game in a tie but we played our hearts out and left everything out on the field. I as a player/manager cannot ask for anything more than that. We learned a few things last night about ourselves and the Beavers, that I would like to share:
1. Carl is a jackass. His Carlness was on full display last nite and it
was horrid.
B. We can beat the Beavers
III. Patrick, once a game, pulls the greatest idiotic jumping and jiving
play out of his butt
Quatro. The Beavers' girls are trashy
23. Balls Deep is here to stay
19. Our fans kick ass
XX. Clifford is a big red dog
I received an advance copy of the new Sports Illustrated that will hit stands next month, and I would like to share the excerpt from the game last evening..
" I attended maybe the greatest rivalry game in history last evening. There were screaming fans doing the wave and screaming cheers. I saw a packed stadium with the rich looking down from a state of the art sky box. And I saw a beautiful field with tremendous athletes running around in what seemed like organized chaos. It was not Auburn vs. Alabama, not Ohio State vs. Michigan, not Duke vs. North Carolina. It was Balls Deep vs. The Beavers. The game started under threatening skies but all of the thunder and lightning happened on the field of play. In the second inning, The Beavers struck first with a fantastic job of moving runners on by situational hitting. But Balls Deep was up to the task and responded the very next half inning. The beavers struck
back in the fifth with another excellent job of moving runners although having one runner thrown out on the way to the plate nullifying the chance to score another run. Again the Balls Deepers would not be denied and scored quickly to even it up once again. It was The Beavers who continued to push the pace as they scored again on a fluke play where a trashy looking girl kicked the ball 125 yards down the right field line after recording an out at first. The game continued at that score for several innings until time was getting short. The only scoring chance came for the Beavers when they had a runner thrown out again close to the plate trying to score. The top of the ninth inning was started with just two minutes left and the score still 3 to 2 in favor of the Beavers. That was when the magic started. Patrick Halloran led off the inning with a triple that should have been a single but Halloran jumped and juked and jived all the way sliding into third. After a pop out, Ben Clanton laced a single to center in front of the ailing Beavercenterfielder to score the run. The next hitter popped out to the right fielder in short right and Clanton tagged on the weak arm and advanced to second. The lead was then secured as Jason Lewin tattooed a groundball between second and third and Clanton slid headfirst into home for the go-ahead run. The bottom of the ninth was not quite as exciting as the Beavers continued to play small ball and scored another run with precise kicking and moving the runner around the bases one by one. As soon as the inning ended, the crack field crew called the game becauseof impending rain and lightning, but the only thunder came from the protests of the fans as they voiced their displeasure with the outcome. The field was awash with blood, sweat and tears, and the players slowly made their way to the locker-room with their eye on another possiblematch up in the playoffs. If I were you, I would go ahead and get your tickets now as they will go quick after the display last night. Kickball fever... catch it."
I can't wait for it to hit newsstands. The match up for next is being discussed, but be ready. It will be a victory for the good guys... Thank you and Good Luck.
